Brother Liddle has served as Field Supervisor since 2018, and previously as Assistant Field Supervisor beginning 2015. Having attended El Camino College, he holds two certificates, with a Major in Business Management. David hired with BNSF Railway Company in 1997 and currently holds seniority out of Los Angeles, CA being a member in good standing of Local 1674. David additionally holds office as Assoc. General Chairperson GO – 020 and Vice Chairperson, CA Legislative Board. Brother Liddle also serves as Local Chairperson and Legislative Representative of his Local. His experience as Associate GC (Arbitrative) and Vice Chairperson (Legislative) has given him a well-rounded understanding of the challenges facing both the Bus and Rail industries and allows the inner knowledge necessary to serve his diverse membership base in a fuller capacity. David enjoys investing, studying, reading, along with hiking and traveling. He is happily married to Rowena Jane Liddle and has four children. They reside together in Torrance, CA.

When I got my cancer diagnosis I was totally freaked out, you know how it’s always someone else and not you. The last thing I wanted to do was fill out more paperwork. After getting to know you I guess I should not have been surprised when you immediately helped me get the paperwork completed. Being a local chairperson myself I know how much you can have on your plate at any given time, so It made it even more amazing that within a matter of hours, not days or weeks, you had my claim filed and I received my first check that week.
